Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of astralscripts.xyz, the Astral Scripts script library, the Astral Scripts Discord community, and every related service we provide (together, the Service). By creating an account, submitting a payment, downloading a script, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not create an account and do not use the Service. Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and our License Agreement, each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. The Service

Astral Scripts publishes GPC scripts written for the Cronus Zen hardware device. Scripts are delivered as downloadable files that you load onto a device you own, using software supplied by that device's manufacturer. Depending on the script, they are intended for use with games on Xbox, PlayStation 5, and PC.

We supply the script files and the documentation that accompanies them. We do not supply the Cronus Zen device, the software used to load scripts onto it, or any game. Obtaining and maintaining that hardware and software is your responsibility, as is the cost of the internet connection and equipment you need to use the Service.

Independence. Astral Scripts is an independent publisher. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Cronus, Collective Minds, Microsoft, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Epic Games, Activision, Take-Two Interactive, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, or any other hardware manufacturer, game publisher, or platform operator. All product names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification only.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority where you live if that age is higher, to purchase a subscription. By using the Service you represent that you meet that requirement, that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, and that you are not barred from receiving the Service under any applicable law or sanctions regime.

4. Accounts

You need an account to download scripts. You agree to provide accurate information when registering, to keep it current, and to maintain one account per person. Creating additional accounts to obtain further promotional credit, or to regain access after a suspension, is prohibited.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including every download made through it. Keep your credentials confidential, do not share them, and notify us at [email protected] as soon as you suspect unauthorised access. Sharing an account is a breach of these Terms and of the License Agreement, and is grounds for termination without refund.

5. Subscriptions, Pricing, and Payment

Astral Scripts offers a single paid tier, Pro, at $20 USD per month or $180 USD per year. Pro grants access to the full script library, including releases marked premium, for the duration of the term you purchased. A limited selection of scripts is available without a subscription; which scripts those are is at our discretion and may change at any time.

How payment works. We do not process card payments directly. Payment is made by purchasing a prepaid gift card from a third-party marketplace and submitting the redemption code to us through the checkout page. Once we have verified the code we activate your Pro access and record the order against your account. Verification is performed manually and is normally completed within a few hours, though it can take longer.

The gift card purchase is a separate transaction.It is made with the marketplace, not with us, and is governed by that marketplace's own terms. We never receive your payment details, and we cannot see, alter, cancel, or reverse a purchase made there. Any dispute about the gift card purchase itself must be raised with the marketplace.

Subscriptions do not renew automatically. Because payment is made with a one-time gift card, there is nothing for us to charge again. When your term ends, access to paid scripts stops until you purchase a new term. Nothing is ever billed to you without a deliberate new purchase, and there is no recurring charge to cancel.

Invalid, used, or fraudulent codes. A code that has already been redeemed, carries an insufficient balance, or was obtained fraudulently will be rejected, and no access will be granted. Submitting a code you are not entitled to use is fraud; we will terminate the account and may report the matter.

We may change our pricing at any time. A price change never affects a term you have already paid for — it applies only to purchases made after the change takes effect.

6. No Refunds

All sales are final. Once Pro access has been granted to your account, no refund is issued under any circumstances.

This policy follows from how the Service works. Access is granted immediately upon verification of your payment, and the entire script library becomes downloadable at that moment. A digital script cannot be returned: once delivered, you keep the file and the knowledge of its contents whether or not your access is later revoked. There is nothing for us to take back, so there is nothing to refund.

For the avoidance of doubt, we do not issue refunds, partial refunds, credits, or pro-rated adjustments where:

• you changed your mind, or bought the wrong plan or term;
• you did not use the Service, or downloaded fewer scripts than you expected to;
• a script does not perform the way you hoped, or does not suit your play style;
• a game update, console firmware update, or anti-cheat change causes a script to stop working;
• your Cronus Zen device, controller, console, or PC is faulty, incompatible, or unavailable to you;
• your game account is restricted, suspended, or banned by a publisher or platform operator;
• your Astral Scripts account is suspended or terminated for breach of these Terms or the License Agreement; or
• you are dissatisfied for any other reason.

By completing a purchase you confirm that you have read this section, that you understand access is granted immediately, and that you knowingly waive any right of withdrawal or cancellation that might otherwise apply to a digital purchase. If you are not comfortable with this policy, do not purchase a subscription.

Nothing above limits a right you may hold under a mandatory consumer protection law that cannot be waived by agreement. Where such a law applies to you, this section applies to the fullest extent that law permits.

Technical problems are a separate matter from refunds. If a script does not work as described, contact us at [email protected] or in our Discord and we will do our best to get it running for you, including by supplying a corrected or alternative script where one is available.

7. Acceptable Use

Scripts are licensed to you for personal use on hardware you own. In using the Service you agree that you will not:

• share, publish, sell, rent, sublicense, or otherwise redistribute any script, in whole or in part, modified or unmodified, for payment or free of charge;
• reverse engineer, decompile, deobfuscate, or attempt to derive the source of a script, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction;
• use any script in professional, officially sanctioned, or prize-bearing competition, in an esports tournament, in a qualifier or league operated or endorsed by a publisher, or anywhere the organiser prohibits third-party input devices;
• use any script to harass, defraud, or target another player, or to disrupt a service for others;
• scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or use automated means to extract content from the Service, or attempt to reach scripts your subscription does not entitle you to;
• interfere with the Service or its infrastructure, probe it for vulnerabilities, or circumvent any access control, rate limit, or download restriction;
• resell, mirror, or operate a competing distribution of our library, or use the Service to build a competing product; or
• use the Service in violation of any applicable law.

Compliance with game and platform rules is your responsibility. Many publishers and platform operators prohibit third-party input devices and scripted input in online play. We make no representation that using a script is permitted by any particular game, console, storefront, or online service. Read the rules that apply to what you play, and decide for yourself whether to use a script there.

8. Assumption of Risk

You use scripts at your own risk. Publishers and platform operators actively detect third-party input devices and scripted input, and their detection methods change without notice. Using a script may result in suspension or permanent ban of your game account, loss of purchased in-game content, loss of progression or ranking, restriction of your console or storefront account, or loss of access to online play.

We do not control, influence, or receive notice of those decisions, we cannot appeal or reverse them, and we do not indemnify you against them. By purchasing and using a script you accept that risk in full, and you agree that any such outcome is not a defect in the Service, is not grounds for a refund, and is not a liability of Astral Scripts.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and everything in it — the scripts and their source, the documentation and guides, the site design, the Astral Scripts name and logo, and all text and imagery we publish — is owned by Astral Scripts or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of anything to you.

Your subscription buys a limited licence to use scripts on the terms set out in the License Agreement. It does not buy the scripts themselves.

Content you submit. If you post a rating, review, comment, or other material through the Service you keep ownership of it, and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and reproduce it in connection with operating and promoting the Service. You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.

10. Discord Community

Membership includes access to our Discord server. The server is a courtesy rather than a contracted deliverable: we may change, restrict, or close it at any time, and doing so does not affect your script access or entitle you to a refund.

Conduct in the server is subject to these Terms, to the server rules, and to Discord's own terms. Harassment, hate speech, spam, advertising, distributing our scripts, and sharing account credentials will result in removal from the server, and may result in termination of your Astral Scripts account.

11. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time, and you may request deletion of your account as described in the Privacy Policy. Because subscriptions do not renew automatically, there is nothing you need to cancel to avoid a future charge.

We may suspend or terminate your account, revoke your licence, and refuse further service — without notice and without refund — if we reasonably determine that you have breached these Terms or the License Agreement, distributed or resold our scripts, submitted a fraudulent or stolen payment code, shared your account, or behaved in a way that exposes us or other users to legal or security risk.

On termination, your right to use the Service and every script obtained through it ends immediately, and you must delete all copies in your possession. Sections 6, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, and 16 survive termination.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service and all scripts are provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that any script will be compatible with your hardware, firmware, or game version; that a script will keep working after a game or console update; that any particular result, performance, or competitive advantage will be achieved; or that defects will be corrected. Scripts are tested against the game and firmware versions current at the time of release, and nothing beyond that is promised.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astral Scripts and its operators, contributors, and script authors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, game progression, in-game purchases, account standing, or opportunity, arising out of or related to the Service — whether the claim is based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damage.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the subscription term in which the claim arose, or fifty United States dollars, whichever is less.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is so, the exclusions and limitations above apply to the greatest extent those laws permit, and nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Astral Scripts and its operators against any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms or the License Agreement, your redistribution of any script, or your violation of any law or of the rights of a third party.

15. Changes to the Service and to These Terms

We may add, change, suspend, or remove any part of the Service, including individual scripts, at any time. A script may be withdrawn when it stops working, when a game changes, or when we decide not to maintain it, and its withdrawal does not entitle you to a refund.

We may also revise these Terms. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page, and where the change is material we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the Service or our Discord. Continued use of the Service after a revision takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Service.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Astral Scripts is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, and without depriving you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.

Come to us first. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] with a description of the dispute and the resolution you are seeking, and to attempt in good faith to resolve the matter informally for a period of thirty days. Most problems are settled this way.

You and Astral Scripts each agree to bring any claim only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding.

17. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the License Agreement, are the entire agreement between you and Astral Scripts regarding the Service, and supersede any prior understanding. If any provision is held unenforceable it is severed, and the remaining provisions stay in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the Service.
